1. Introduction

Bunk360: Fuel Station Manager (“Bunk360”, “the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mobile application designed to help petrol pump owners, fuel station managers, and business operators maintain sales registers, meter readings, shift settlements, fuel density records, tank inventory, customer credit ledgers, expenses, compliance records, and business reports.

Bunk360 is designed with an offline-first approach. Its core business records are maintained locally on your device, allowing the principal management features to work without a continuous internet connection.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Bunk360, including information entered into the App, local storage, device licensing, backup and restore, report exports, and optional sharing features.

By using Bunk360, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read this Privacy Policy.

2. Information we handle

2.1 Business and operational records

Depending on the features you use, you may enter and store information such as:

  • Fuel sales, opening and closing meter readings, nozzle readings, and testing quantities.
  • Fuel density, temperature, tank dip measurements, inventory, and tanker receipt records.
  • Shift manager and attendant details, shift settlements, and payment reconciliation.
  • Customer names, vehicle registration numbers, odometer readings, credit transactions, and outstanding balances.
  • Lubricant inventory, purchase and sales records, operating expenses, and business reports.
  • Station details, inspection records, license information, expiry dates, and operational notes.

These records may contain personal or commercially sensitive information about you, your employees, customers, suppliers, or business.

We do not collect or store your data. Everything you enter into Bunk360, including customer details, stays in the App’s local database on your own device. It is never sent to us, and we have no server or cloud database that holds it.

Information entered into the App remains your responsibility. Please enter only information you are authorized to maintain.

2.2 Device ID for licensing

The only information Bunk360 uses for licensing is your device ID. The App uses it to check that your license belongs to your device. No other personal information is needed for licensing.

If you send us your device ID to obtain a license, we use it only to issue and verify that license.

2.3 What we do not collect

Bunk360 does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking tools. We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, or any business or customer records.

3. How information is used

Information maintained by Bunk360 is used to provide the features you request, including:

  • Calculating daily sales and reconciling meter readings.
  • Managing shifts, cash collections, payment records, and credit balances.
  • Recording fuel density, temperature, stock, and tanker deliveries.
  • Tracking lubricant inventory, expenses, and customer transactions.
  • Producing business reports, receipts, PDFs, spreadsheets, and backup files.
  • Managing local license verification and application functionality.
  • Supporting backup restoration, database integrity checks, and recovery.
  • Troubleshooting application errors and maintaining reliable operation where necessary.

Bunk360 does not need a continuous internet connection for its principal local record-management functions.

4. Internet connectivity and sharing

Bunk360 is designed to work completely offline. None of its features need an internet connection, and the App does not send your business records to us or to any server.

Bunk360 supports sharing of receipts and files that you start yourself, through Android sharing and compatible apps such as WhatsApp. When you choose to share a receipt, report, or file:

  • You control whether to start the sharing action.
  • The app or person you choose receives the information in the shared item.
  • That app or service handles the information under its own privacy policy.
  • We do not control what the recipient does with it afterwards.

We do not sell personal or business information to anyone.

This web page offers optional machine translation through Google Translate. The translation service loads only after you choose a language other than English. When it does, Google receives the text of this page and technical information such as your IP address, and handles it under Google’s own privacy policy. The Bunk360 app itself is not involved, and no business records are sent.

5. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not receive your business records, so we have nothing to share with others.

Information leaves your device only when you export, print, or share a record yourself.

If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect.

6. Data storage and security

Bunk360 uses local database storage to maintain business records and includes validation and recovery functionality intended to protect database integrity.

The application also checks your license against your device ID on the device itself.

We take reasonable steps through the application’s design to reduce the risk of accidental data corruption, unauthorized access, and improper handling. However:

  • Local storage is not a guarantee of database encryption.
  • Device security, Android permissions, backups, malware, physical access, and third-party applications may affect the confidentiality of information.
  • We cannot guarantee that any device or software system is completely secure.

You should protect your device with an appropriate screen lock, keep Android and the App updated, and store exported backups securely.

Unless specifically verified in the installed version, this policy does not claim that the complete SQLite database or every exported backup is encrypted.

7. Data retention and deletion

7.1 Local business records

Business records are retained on your device until you delete them through the App, clear the App’s data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove the relevant files.

Uninstalling the App or clearing its data may permanently remove records that have not been backed up.

7.2 Backups and exports

You may create database backups and export reports or receipts using supported features.

Files saved to your Downloads folder, another storage location, Google Drive, WhatsApp, email, or another destination are subject to the retention and deletion practices of that destination.

Deleting information from Bunk360 does not automatically delete copies that you previously exported or shared.

You are responsible for securely deleting exported files and backups that you no longer need.

7.3 License information

Your device ID stays on your device for as long as it is needed to verify your license. Uninstalling the App removes it from the device.

7.4 Data deletion requests

Bunk360 has no user accounts and no cloud database, and we do not hold your business or customer records. You can delete your records yourself through the App, by clearing the App’s storage, or by uninstalling it. These actions may permanently delete records, so create a backup first if you need to keep them.

If you sent us your device ID to obtain a license and want it deleted, or if you have any other privacy question, contact us using the details in Section 11.

Copies that you exported or shared are held by their recipients or destinations, and must be deleted there.

8. Children’s privacy

Bunk360 is intended for business owners, fuel station operators, managers, and other professional users. It is not designed or marketed specifically for children.

We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child’s information has been shared with us, please contact us so that we can review it.

9. Your responsibilities and choices

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary authority to enter and maintain employee, customer, supplier, and vehicle information.

You can choose whether to use optional sharing and export features. Before sharing a report or receipt, review its contents to ensure that it does not reveal confidential business information to an unintended recipient.

You should maintain secure backups of important business records and verify that a backup can be restored before relying on it as your only recovery copy.

Because your records stay on your device and under your control, you can access, correct, or delete them directly in the App. For anything we might hold, such as a device ID you sent us for licensing, you may contact us to raise a request.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Bunk360’s features, technical implementation, legal requirements, or data practices.

The latest version will be published at https://bunk360-privacypolicy.gunasai.in.

The effective date at the beginning of the document will be updated when a material revision is published. We encourage users to review this page periodically.
